1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small item of data stored by the browser. Browser local storage can serve a similar purpose. RunInTeam loads optional technologies only after prior consent for the relevant category.
2. Necessary storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Secure session and sign-in | Browsing session |
| lang | Language preference | 30 days |
| runinteam_cookie_consent | Stores the cookie choice | 180 days |
| Local storage: dismissed app version | Hides an APK update notice already dismissed | Until browser data are cleared or a new release appears |
These are needed for sign-in, security or a requested setting and cannot be disabled in the panel.
3. Statistics
After consent, Google Analytics 4 may use first-party _ga and _ga_<identifier> cookies. Exact names and lifetimes depend on provider configuration; the longest typical lifetime is up to two years. They measure visits and sessions.
4. Marketing and social media
The Facebook SDK loads only after consent for this category. Meta may then use its own cookies or identifiers for the sharing feature. RunInTeam does not use this category for its own advertising.
5. External technical resources
OpenStreetMap, jsDelivr, unpkg, jQuery and DataTables resources may be downloaded to display maps and the interface. Their servers receive the IP address and technical browser data as part of these necessary requests.
6. Changing your choice
The “Cookie settings” button reopens the panel at any time. Rejecting optional categories does not block core features. Existing cookies can also be deleted in browser settings.
